Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council had a vision to create a centre of regional and national importance at the Murrook Cultural Centre. Our challenge was to develop a contemporary brand strategy and identity to bring to life their mission “By telling our truth, and uniting as one people, we will ensure cultural change and a better future for all Australians.”

We worked in collaboration with the team at Murrook to understand their story and mission. Following a series of workshops and interviews, we focused our strategy on our understanding of the real essence of the Murrook brand: its power to unify and change the people and communities it touches.

The brand identity was developed around the organising idea “Change Forever”. When you walk through the door at Murrook you can’t help but leave feeling changed forever. The idea speaks to the life and world changing work Murrook does as custodians of culture and country and sharing their knowledge for generations to come. Without organisations like Murrook forever would be a very different place.
