Campaign for Subaru WRX in collaboration with Melbourne musician Harts. We were tasked to broaden the appeal of the WRX and take it to a new audience, while still keeping the iconic attitude Subaru purists love.

We replaced a WRX accelerator pedal with a legendary “wah” guitar effects pedal and then invited gun-guitarist Harts to play fast and loud. The result was a live music performance, with the WRX being both driven and used as an instrument simultaneously.

The campaign was directed by Peter Moore from //13&CO and generated a lot of buzz online through both the automotive and music industries.
